Log Cabin Dog House

A log cabin dog house gives your dog his very own dream house in your backyard.  Let’s face it, it you’ve got to buy a dog house you might as well get one that looks good.  The log cabin for dogs is probably one of the most handsome on the market today because it is so appealing.   Who doesn’t love a log cabin? 

What makes it such a stand out?

It’s made of solid kiln-dried half logs.  They’re sturdy and connected together for added insulation and protection against all bad weather.  Your dog will have a refuge where he can go to get out of the rain, snow, sleet and hard summer sun.  This house will keep him warm in the winter and cool in the summer. 

But another thing we like is the roof that is easy to take on and off.  You can remove it so you can clean the inside.   Many vets will tell you keeping your dogs “crate area” clean is a must so your dog will have a safe, clean-smelling, as well as germ free place to sleep.  That’s important to dogs and to you because you want your boy or girl to be as comfortable as possible.

However, that’s not the main feature we love so much.  What really  hits us with this wooden dog house is the optional front porch.  Yep, every pooch needs a porch.  Why?  So he can lie around and do what dogs do best; sleep while keeping an eye on your backyard.  How do they do that?  It’s a mystery, but we all know dogs spend a lot of time napping, but at the same time they’ll bark when something weird starts happening around them.   Why not give them a front porch connected to their dog house where they can be on cool wood logs?
