Keeping your dog safe while riding in your car is vital. You don’t need your dog running around your car while your are driving. We stress “easily” because sometimes dog cages may not be as easy to assemble as some manufacturers claim. However, the T-Flex is simple and only requires a little tightening of the bolts for a perfect fit.
One big advantage for the T Flex Barrier is the chrome bars don’t actually have to be fastened to the sides. It fits like a glove to your ceiling and floor and is so sturdy the sides don’t have to be attached or adjusted. There are rubber tips on the ends of the bars so your car ceiling doesn’t get punctured of damaged.
Some pet parents are reporting it can be used for cars, even though it is recommended for SUV’s, station wagons, and vans, but you can do some measurements and check that out first before you buy.
Frankly, we like it better than the Euro Barrier, which we think is a little more flimsy, but for small dogs, the Euro Barrier would probably work as long as they can’t crawl through it.

We think the soft sided crates work well for a car or van if you’re just going to be using them for that. We’re not sure about plane travel because that’s a whole different type of travel and we’re not covering that with this review about dog cages for cars.
